THE NEXA EDGE PLATFORM

Built around the job, not the material category.

NEXA Edge starts with the requirements printers, installers and specifiers actually encounter: performance, consistency, durability and commercial viability.

The platform uses advanced next-generation polymer technology and is formulated without PVC and the plasticisers traditionally associated with PVC films. The sustainability improvement matters, but NEXA Edge is deliberately led by performance and cost effectiveness.

The first commercial range covers four different application needs: Solo self-wound laminate, Terra R11 floor laminate, Endure long-term outdoor laminate with UVA and UVB protection for 10+ years outdoor use, and Optical, a printable optically clear film developed specifically for window graphics.

WHAT COMES NEXT

The range is expanding.

Optical is the first printable film in the commercial NEXA Edge range, but it will not be the last.

Additional printable self-adhesive films and specialist media are being developed and tested for general-purpose graphics, high-tack surfaces, one-way vision, blockout and other performance requirements.

Veritas will release those products when their print, installation and real-world performance support the claims we make for them. We would rather launch a product later than ask the market to compromise.

WHERE NEXA EDGE FITS

Complementary to BIOND, not a replacement for it.

Veritas uses the two platforms for different kinds of work rather than forcing one material solution into every application.

BIOND

The sustainability benchmark.

BIOND is aimed at premium, high-end graphics and campaigns where sustainability is the primary specification driver and the incumbent would often be polymeric PVC.

Performance and value at scale.

NEXA Edge is aimed at the much larger volume of commercial graphics that would typically use monomeric PVC. The next-generation polymer offers a positive sustainability step, but its core promise is high performance, application-specific functionality and cost effectiveness.
